Addition and Subtraction Animal Flashcards
Let these colorful animals help your child understand what adding and subtracting are all about! Use these 84 flashcards to introduce and review adding numbers that equal up to 10 and basic subtraction concepts. Each combination card has an animal illustration with the combination printed on the front. The reverse contains a visual of the animals to illustrate the addition or subtraction concept. Your child can count 1 bee plus 4 bees to understand addition or see 5 bees with one crossed out to understand 5 – 1=4. Also included are cards that introduce each number “family” with a song. Correlated with the Abeka phonics program, each card contains art for the clue word that your child will learn to associate with the letter (a says ă as in apple, etc.).
