Notgrass Exploring America High School American History Set
This high school American History set from Notgrass Publishing has been well-loved by my family. This is the 2019 edition. It comes with the primary textbook set in 2 volumes. There is an American Voices text with original documents, speeches, etc. The Student Review book has writing on one page (picture is included). Also included is the Guide for Parents, the Quiz Book, as well as printouts of the schedule and the Literary Analysis. For the printouts, I had used “upcycled” paper to print these on, which is why the back has an Allstate logo.

This is a listing for a partial set of Alpha Omega LifePac Language Arts Grade 7. It includes student workbooks 3-10, and they have no writing. The set did not work out for my son. The Adventures of Odysseus & the Tale of Troy by Padraic Colum
This book is in good condition, although it arrived with some pages with darker print than others when purchased directly from the publisher. A few of those with darker print have a slight blur to them. The pictures show these pages. It was still readable for me and my sons.
In this retelling of the Odyssey, Padraic Colum introduces young readers to Odysseus, the Greek hero of the Trojan War who has been away from his home and his family for twenty years. The Adventures of Odysseus & The Tale of Troy has all the essentials of Homer’s epic: the son, Telemachus, searching for news about his father; the faithful wife, Penelope, refusing to marry again despite a throng of suitors; and Odysseus himself, struggling against monsters, storms, and the wrath of gods to be reunited with his family and regain his place as king of Ithaka. Colum’s version will familiarize students with the characters and plot of the Odyssey, preparing them to read the more difficult words of Homer with deeper understanding.
