Excellence in Writing and Beautiful Feet Books have teamed up to provide a course of instruction that incorporates geography, science, history, and writing instruction all using the classic works of Holling Clancy Holling. While students learn history and geography from the Caldecott and Newbery award-winning works of Mr. Holling, they will also enjoy discovering the principles of writing with structure and style developed by Andrew Pudewa.
Both the writing manual and the guidebook for the curriculum are included.
Purchase would need to also obtain the Hollic C. Holling books used in the curriculum.
An excellent source for teaching geography across multiple ages.
Using this year-long course, students will develop their skill with the Structure and Style Writing Method while learning about interesting, important people and events in U.S. history from the explorers to the twentieth century. An optional literature component studies six novels that integrate with the historical topics used for writing assignments. (replaces the previous Volume 1 course.)
