***Read below. Apples is designed for the older student (junior high or high school) who struggles with spelling. You just need some simple (but not elementary), daily phonics drills that go over the basic phonics rules. Your older student simply goes over one of the 150 Apples (per book) each day, taking about 10 minutes. Once a week your student is introduced to a spelling rule (called a clue). He will study that rule for the entire week, applying it in various spelling situations. Answer key included
